SURABAYA – Tongkat kepemimpinan Kepala Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Timur, kini telah berganti dari Irjen Pol Nico Afinta, yang saat ini dijabat oleh Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto.
Atas pergantian ini, salah satu tokoh Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) yang sekaligus sebagai Ketua PWNU Jawa Timur KH Marzuki Mustamar, menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Irjen Pol Nico Afinta, selama menjabat sebagai Kapolda Jatim, dianggap telah sukses dan baik dalam menangani berbagai persoalan di jatim.jum’at (20/10/22).
“Kami sebagai warga jatim tentu juga sebagai salah satu tokoh NU merasakan kemanfaatan beliau luar biasa dalam menangani Covid-19. Tentu juga bersama elemen yang lain, alhamdulillah Jatim termasuk yang paling sukses,” kata Ketua PWNU Jawa Timur KH Marzuki Mustamar.
“Beberapa kasus besar misalnya, narkoba di beberapa wilayah juga bisa ditangani dengan baik. Radikalisme, terorisme, juga sudah diproses, dan hasil operasi narkoba yang berhasil dibakar di Mapolda,” tambahnya.
Menurut kami itu prestasi yang luar biasa, kemudian yang mungkin ada potensi kerawanan, seperti di Jakarta mungkin bisa disulut masalah perbedaan ras, suku dan agama untuk kepentingan Politik kelompok tertentu.
“Alhamdulillah beliau bisa meredam itu di jatim dan meskipun di jatim ada beberapa Kabupaten yang kerawanannya mirip di jakarta namun di jatim tidak sampai seperti itu,” pungkasnya.
